About
Durham University Classical Theatre Company
AKA. DUCT
Durham University Classical Theatre was re-founded in 2011 by students, Charly Burnell and Michael Huband, with three core principles in mind:
1) To produce works written over one hundred years ago or with a subject matter concerning events over a hundred years old.
2) To revive forgotten works of literature.
3) To provide a platform for the Durham community to get involved in and stage pieces of classical theatre.
DUCT is currently run by its President, Harry Scholes, and his Executive Committee. We aim to perform at least one show a term and are an inclusive community that's always looking for people to get involved.
Durham Student Theatre
Durham Student Theatre (DST) is the home of theatre at Durham University and DUCT is a part of it. In order to be a member of, and work with, DUCT you must be a registered (paying) member of Durham Student Theatre.
