Welcome DUCT 2017/2018!!!

Dear All,

Hello! My name is George Ellis, and I'm the President of DUCT (Durham University Classical Theatre) for 2017/18. Hopefully you're all as excited as I am to start term and get involved with the wide range of dramatic opportunities Durham has to offer, so here's a brief reminder of what we've got going on for Michaelmas...

First off, have a look at our brand new website here, which should give you a flavour of the company and provide details of the many events we've got planned.

Secondly, auditions for our first production of the term, Euripides' The Bacchae, take place on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th October (this week). Visit our Facebook page for everything you need to know, and don't be afraid to give it a go!

Thirdly, as promised at the Freshers' Fair, we are having a relaxed meet-and-greet event on Friday 13th October (DUCT isn't intimidated by omens...) at Bar 33 (Neville Street, DH1 4EY) from 7pm. It's a great chance to meet the exec and like-minded thespians in an informal environment, so do pop in if you're free!
