Welcome to DUCT!

Dear All,

Hello! My name is Harry Scholes, and I'm the President of Durham University Classical Theatre (DUCT) for 2018/2019. Hopefully you're all as excited as I am to start term and get involved with all the dramatic opportunities Durham has to offer. Here's a brief reminder of what we have planned for Michaelmas Term...

First, have a look at our website here, which should give you an idea of what we're about as a company and some of our past productions.

Second, we have auditions for two productions in the coming week. If you're keen on comedy, auditions for Aristophanes' Lysistrata will take place on Monday 8th/Tuesday 9th October in ER A77. You can find all you need to know about them here.

If tragedy's your thing, we will also be holding auditions for Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th in ER A79. You can find out about the Chekhov here. We will also be holding a few interviews for the Production Team, which you can sign up for here.

Third, keep an eye out- we'll be having a relaxed meet-and-greet very soon, which will be a great chance to meet the Exec and thespian-minded people in an informal environment.
